is the best? or integra

i have an acura rsx 2007.
its really nice, i love it.

There’s not really a difference between the years. So go w/ what’s less.

What Edmunds.com says about the 2006

With an overall feeling of refinement, and exemplary steering, the 2006 Acura RSX is a car you can drive to work everyday and still cut loose in it over the weekend.

Pros

High-revving Type-S engine, nimble handling, sharp steering, clean interior design, plenty of standard equipment.

Cons

Modest torque output, tight rear-seat headroom, forgettable exterior design.

What’s New for 2006

There are no significant changes to the 2006 Acura RSX, although new SAE testing procedures have resulted in slightly lower horsepower ratings.

now the 2005
What Edmunds.com says

With an overall feeling of refinement, and exemplary steering, Acura’s RSX is a car you can drive to work everyday and still cut loose in it over the weekend.

Pros

High-revving Type-S engine, nimble handling, sharp steering, clean interior design, plenty of standard equipment.

Cons

Modest torque output, tight rear-seat headroom, forgettable exterior design.

What’s New for 2005

For 2005, the RSX receives a number of changes. Horsepower for the Type-S is bumped up to 210, thanks to new high-performance camshafts, a larger intake duct, large diameter exhaust pipe and a high-flow catalytic converter. The six-speed transmission on the Type-S gets a lower final drive ratio and carbon synchronizers (instead of brass) on fifth and sixth gears for a smoother shift feel. Suspension upgrades on all models include a 7mm lower ride height, revised stabilizer bars and inversely wound springs. The steering and braking systems have been refined for better feel and response, and the Type-S gets a larger diameter front strut tower brace and 17-inch wheels. Front and rear fascias have also been redesigned, along with the side sills, grille, headlamps and taillamps. The Type-S gets a rear spoiler, as well. Inside, you’ll find new deeply bolstered seats with thicker cushioning and new trim accents. Overall body rigidity has increased by 15 percent in front and 21 percent in the rear.

now for the 2004
What Edmunds.com says

With an overall feeling of refinement, and exemplary steering, Acura’s RSX is a car you can drive to work every day and still cut loose in over the weekend.

Pros

High-revving Type-S engine, plenty of standard equipment, nimble handling.

Cons

Modest torque output, tight rear-seat headroom.

What’s New for 2004

For 2004, the RSX receives heated sideview mirrors as standard equipment.

I would say id look for a 2005

dont listen to anyone especially the girl who said she has an 07 considering acura stopped making them in 06… however, if you remember back the 2006 Honda Civic Si won car of the year beating out bmw 3 series 10 year reign… now put an acura symbol on that same car with sleeker design and higher quality parts and more services you got a hell of a car… the rsx is the mother car to the 06 si

id say 2006!!!

omg… dont listen to any of these fools!

04-06 Base Model has about 160horse (same engine as the 02-05 civic si with different gear ratio) (a.k.a Japans Type S)

And onto the Real Type S that only USA and Canada got.

The 02-04 Models have only 200horse (for real its only 190hp)

The 05-06 Models were mention to have 210horse (but really only has 201hp) (the 05-06 has almost all of the Japan Type R parts, thats why its faster then the 02-04 models)

the two are different in motors, front looks, rear looks, and interior is much better on the 05-06 models and the 05-06 is better looking without modding the body work. 02-04 only looks good if you Type R conversion it (mostly all the body parts for the 02-04 are really ugly).

And yes there was a 2007 DC5 but only in JAPAN.

But to your question, the 2005-2006 RSX Type S is the best model!

Well rsx wise, i have always been a fan of the 05-06 ones.
But if u are comparing that to an integra, thats a whole lot different

There are pros and cons for each n one of them.
I have an integra and i love my car.

And in price wise, the integra is cheaper cuz of the fact that its older. So u have to be more specific, if not, the meat heads here will only talk about power in the cars

There isnt much difference in bases mechanically between 02-04, and 05-06. The 05-06′s have much nicer seats though. There was no 07 rsx so im not sure how the one girl owns one. The type-s have more power, nicer rims etc in the later edition, however if you plan on modifying the car the 02-04′s mod better because of k-pro.

they are superior cars. i had a 94 integra with over 250K miles or 402,336 KM on it and it ran like a champ. i beat the crap out of it all the time because i raced it, the work i did was the basic stuff, tune ups, oil changes. timing belt every 100K miles, radiator flush.have any questions email me. here are the specs if you want it: http://www.team-integra.net/sections/art

i want get a 2001 acura RSX oem cd player and i want to ask will RSX oem cd player fit in a 2000 acura integra if not why if it can then how

There is no such car as an 01 RSX.The RSX was made during the 02 -06 model years.

im going to guess that it wont fit considering a dash kit is a very specific part… almost every year of a car has a different dash kit there for i dout it will fit…

no it will not.

if you want a OEM cd player, look at the 92-00 civic or 97-01 CRV.

Most cars will fit from the years 92-there 2nd generation.

ebay sells some for a pretty good price (acura ones, but there is no different just the name on the cd player)

I wanna take it off if I buy the car. Whats it fastened to? and will it leave paint on roof messed up in anyway?

Well I believe it’s just connected to the car using an adhesive. You should be able to use some "Goo Gone" or another similar product to remove it.You could also get a can of sticker/label remover, it’ll do the same thing as the Goo Gone except it comes in an aerosol can which might make applying it easier. They’re both pretty effective.

I used a combination of these two to remove the "Acura" and "TL" from the back of my car, so I know it would work for what you are trying to do.Believe me, if it’ll work for emblem glue it’ll work for you.

Unless the adhesive used for the deflector was corrosive to your paint, which I seriously doubt, your paint will look like nothing was ever there.Just be sure to wax and polish it after you’re done.

Good Luck!

I removed a moon-roof/sun-roof wind deflector off of a 2007 Honda Civic Si recently and I found it connected simply with about 4 allen wrench bolts. The bolts screwed into clips that were shaped like an "L".Each clip was removable as it simply slipped under the lip of the roof itself. Since Acuras are Hondas, I’ll bet your deflector attaches in the same way.

As for the paint… well, the longer that deflector has been in place the cleaner the area beneath it as it has not seen the affects of the sun like the rest of the paint. Also, soap, wax etc has been used around the deflector that leaves a little line that must be scrubbed out.

Unless you have the ability to rub out the clear coat on the paint and polish it to original luster, I think it will always show that a wind deflector was attached. On my Civic, I didn’t much care as the paint looked good enough and I got the use of my sun roof again. That darn deflector took up almost 1/3 of the opening!

Good luck!

ABS/TCS Light goes on then goes off. What is causing the problem and how can I fix this?

I have a 2005 3.2 TL and my owner’s manual tells me that the reason this light would flash at all is when the Traction Control System (VCS or Vehicle Stability Assist in 2005) activates.Otherwise, the light should remain off or be illuminated fully indicating a problem with either system.

Check your manual and see if it reads the same way. There should be a switch on the dash to deactivate the TCS system.Deactivate it for awhile and see if the light stays off.Check the way you drive and decide if it’s coming on because it is supposed to by design. If you still think something is wrong, it’s time to see the dealer for servicing.

Do they come up when you hit the brakes/accelerating?Are they flashing? If they show up when you are braking/accelerating, then its s not a problem. The flash/comes on and goes off because either: your brakes are locking up, your wheels are not getting traction (wheels are slipping in other words), or your car is losing control. When those lights come on, it means the computer is helping your brakes from locking up, controlling the amount of power that goes on to your wheels…so you don’t lose control of the car.In other words, those lights come on to warn you about conditions of the road, so you take caution, or the necessary action.

The instructions for the installation of the cold air intake should be all you need for the install and it should have come with a filter that works. If that kit recommends changing the filters periodically with Filltech filters, you might have to do some investigating to find alternative filters.
